Dr. Jobu Roshan Jacob
B.D.S., M.D.S. Consultant – Orthodontist
Dr. Jobu Roshan Jacob graduated with Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Amrita Institute of Dental Sciences, Kochi in 2010 and following that he worked for three years as general practitioner. He worked with an eminent orthodontist for a year and then got trained in cosmetic dentistry under Dr Wesly Abraham. Having developed a passion for aesthetics in dentistry he then undertook 3 years of post-graduate residency training in the specialty of Orthodontics at his alma mater Amrita Institute of Dental Sciences, Kochi.
Dr Jobu pursued advanced studies and completed training in Lingual Orthodontics with Dr Didier Fillion (Father of lingual Orthodontics). Dr Jobu also completed his training in mini implant anchorage and segmental arch mechanics in orthodontics with pioneer’s Dr John Lin and Dr Jhonny Liaw from Korea.
He specializes in fixed orthodontic treatment using latest self-ligating systems such as Smart Clip (3M) and the Damon system. His main interests are treating children with preventive and interceptive orthodontics, and adults with invisible and surgical orthodontics.
He is a certified provider of Invisalign®, ClearPath Aligner, SmileAlign aligner and FastAlign aligner systems. He is also certified Ilingual 3D self-ligating lingual orthodontic practitioner.
His research is in digital orthodontics and aligner systems. He is an active member in:
